1) What film have you chosen? 
The wolf of wall street

2) Why did you choose this film in particular? 
I have chosen this film in particular because i love Leonardo DiCaprio as an actor and i enjoyed watching this film.

1) What genre does your chosen film fit into?
The wolf of wall street fits into many genres such as Biography, Crime, Comedy and Drama 

2) How can you tell it fits that genre? Be specific with reference to the trailer.
This fits the genre of biography as it has someone talking over the trailer which suggests that is the main person of the film, Leonardo DiCaprio also the trailer matches the theme of Crime as there is many scenes of Money and drugs, in another scene there is police which also relates to crime

3) Does your chosen film have any stars or a director that are known for that particular genre?
The main star in The Wold of Wall street is Leonardo DiCaprio 'Jordan Belfort', He has starred in other crime films such as The departed, so he fits perfectly with that genre.

First Trailer was released on YouTube was the 29th October 2013

Posters of the film where put in magazines also was shown in adverts on the tv and on youtube. Main trailers where released in October 2013 even though it wasn't released in cinemas until the 17th January 2014 in the uk

It hit the $300 million mark

I think that this film was a success as it made a $292 million profit, which is incredible.

Leo was a main role in The departed which also contains violence and crime which ties in with Wall street, also In the film He is shown as a twisted character which also reflects his roles in Django and the great Gatsby.

At the end of the trailer it shows the name of the director Martin Scorese in big bold black letters.
