Film is about a girl who joins an online game, which she does dares in order to make money, she meets a boy and they go on a wild adventure and something very bad happens at the end.

Teenage girl who is about to leave high school looking for some extra cash. Then a typical bad boy character who she meets during the film who most probably will get her in trouble

There are many iconography typical thriller/adventure/crime genres such as the motor bikes, guns, young people, technology, money, violence. All of these all have a connection with the thriller- mystery genre.

Setting 

From the trailer we can already tell that this is going to happen in a very busy city, you can notice that this may take place in New York, mostly at night time, this mirrors the thriller genre as in cities thats where most action takes place.

2 children go and stay with their grandparents for a long weekend, at first they seem like really nice people however as the trailer goes on there is some sort of mystery and the grandmother is possessed and their grandad is keeping secrets..typical horror film situation

2 young children also very stereotypical to put in a horror movie, the grandad parents, the female is possessed very likely in a horror movie and the children mother who is out of town.

Iconography

There was a lot of typical iconography for a horror genre, such as 2 young children, a big house in the middle of the woods, screaming, silent scenes, dragging on the floor, old women banging or scratching the walls.

Setting 

Taken place in a rural place, only one house with shed at the end of the garden also the house is surrounded with a forest and a woodland, very typical for the horror genre having an isolated house in the middle of nowhere.
